Love

I have always wanted to love and cared for.  As a child I hadn't always felt this way.  I have known love and do love.  I know it is hard to accept love sometimes but as we seek for love, let us also find it so that we can share it with others.  There are so many times when we find others that don't feel loved.  What is love?  Love is the feeling of the heart when someone shows you how they feel about by giving a hug, etc. or doing something nice for another person.  We also show love by being obedient, forgiving others, doing service for others  and affection to those things which we see.  God love us also, and wants the best for us.  The greatest example of God's love is found in the atonement of Jesus Christ. Christ died for us so that we can all return to Him and our Father in Heaven.  He loves us so much he died for us so we could repent and be like Him.  This shows such humility that it shows much love.

"For what we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do. What we think and do determines who we are—and who we will become."  Dieter F. Uchtdorf, October 2009 General Conference, "The Love of God"

"Godly fear is loving and trusting in Him. As we fear God more completely, we love Him more perfectly. And “perfect love casteth out all fear” ( Moroni 8:16 )."  David A. Bednar,  April 2015 General Conference, "Therefore They Hushed Their Fears"

"We cannot truly love God if we do not love our fellow travelers on this mortal journey. Likewise, we cannot fully love our fellowmen if we do not love God, the Father of us all." Thomas S. Monson, April 2014 General Conference, "Love-the Essence of the Gospel"

"Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved."  Thomas S. Monson, October 2008 General Conference, "Finding Joy in the Journey"

"....help pollinate the world with the pure love of Christ." M. Russell Ballard, October 2012 General Conference, "Be Anxiously Engaged"

"....remember that saying “I love you” is only a beginning. We need to say it, we need to mean it, and most importantly we need consistently to show it."  David A. Bednar, October 2009 General Conference, "More Diligent and Concerned at Home"

"Perhaps you might think that you are not needed, that you are overlooked or unwanted, that you are nobody. I am sincerely sorry if any priesthood holder feels this way. Certainly you are not overlooked or unwanted by your Heavenly Father. He loves you."  Dieter F. Uchtdorf, April 2013 General Conference, "Four Titles"

"Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God’s love encompasses us completely."  Dieter F. Uchtdorf, October 2009 General Conference, "The Love of God"

"If we follow up, the Lord will not let us down." M. Russell Ballard, April 2014 General Conference, "Following Up"

"How can each of us become such a significant influence? We must be sure to sincerely love those we want to help in righteousness so they can begin to develop confidence in God’s love. For so many in the world, the first challenge in accepting the gospel is to develop faith in a Father in Heaven, who loves them perfectly. It is easier to develop that faith when they have friends or family members who love them in a similar way.
Giving them confidence in your love can help them develop faith in God’s love. Then through your loving, thoughtful communication, their lives will be blessed by your sharing lessons you have learned, experiences you have had, and principles you have followed to find solutions to your own struggles. Show your sincere interest in their well-being; then share your testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ."  Richard G. Scott, April 2014 General Conference, "I Have Given You an Example"
